Delete Account

Current Deletion Process

My Lounge Journal does not currently provide an in-app delete account button. To request account deletion, email info@myloungejournal.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address used for your account.

What Happens After You Email

• We will use the account email and any reasonable verification steps needed to confirm that the request came from the account owner.
• After verification, we will delete or anonymize account data associated with your user account where deletion is technically and legally available.
• This can include authentication/account records, profile data, private cloud-synced journal records, personal cigar identities, pairing records, private notifications, social profile data, username reservations, lounge profile projections, and other account-owned records.
• Some records may be retained or anonymized when needed for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, legal compliance, dispute handling, lounge audit integrity, or backup recovery processes.
• Content already visible in lounge/community areas may be removed, anonymized, or retained in limited form when necessary to preserve conversation, moderation, audit, or safety context.

• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• The email address used for your My Lounge Journal account.
• Any helpful context if you used multiple sign-in methods.

Guest Or Local-Only Data

If you used guest mode or kept some data only on your device, some local data may exist only on that device. Removing the app or clearing its local storage may be needed to remove local-only data that was never synced to an account.
